Just got home from SLO with only seconds left to post pictures and still have them count for today. Super sick contest, thanks Lana and all the sponsors for making it happen. Met lots of cool people and had a fun time. Hopefully have pictures up soon.
Today, some pictures of Gary Velo, who seems to have gone MIA lately. Or maybe he's skimming super secret places. Anyway, not sure if I've thrown these pics around yet and he can move some water, so enjoy. Tomorrow's pictures come soon.

Know what's sad? When I injured myself I was a better skimmer than Nate. No longer.
Had to post this one because, while the picture sucks (it was about 9 at night - kinda dark) Nate was going absolutely crazy. Been fun watching him improve.

haha. i just opened up this thread, and every time my mom sees a picture of someone skimming shes like "AHHHH OMG IS THAT YOU?!?!"
and it almost never is. But this time I think she got pretty close to a heart attack.

Good day today. Doctor told me all the soft tissue in my ankle is in really good shape and all the pain left over is from the damage I did to the bones originally. My tibia and some foot bone smashed each other pretty hard in the original fall two years ago, and they're still really bruised and kinda smashed up. Causes lots of pain when I do things, but I found out the good news is activity won't make it really any worse. After two years of pain, I'm pretty much used to it. So, with the doctor's blessings today, got to go out for a surf. And it was one of the best days (wave wise) I've ever seen. Good stuff.
Then I went over the hill and bought a motorcycle. On the way back a motorcycle was weaving in and out of traffic and got two cars past me and the ate it around a corner right in front of me. The other cars pulled around him and left him in the road (dude) but I'm in EMT so we pulled over and helped him up and checked him out. He was cut up but ok, paramedics came and checked him out and then we all went happily on our way.
All that to same I'm a little wired right now, so I'm gonna put up some calmer pictures today. Pretty new ones shot around Santa Cruz.

I thought I was so cool today. Bought the pretty girl lunch at work today. Went surfing straight after. Then came home and worked on my motorcycle until just now. So cool. And then I tripped trying to take my pants off and fell flat on my face.
